Curricu<\/span>l<\/span>um<\/span><\/p>\n

Our school provides a we<\/span>ll<\/span>-balanced curricu<\/span>l<\/span>um that foster children\u2019s interests as well as developing programs to support the <\/span>l<\/span>earning development of the who<\/span>l<\/span>e child. The programs provide opportunities for chi<\/span>l<\/span>dren to connect their <\/span>l<\/span>earning through dai<\/span>l<\/span>y experience so that children can apply into their dai<\/span>l<\/span>y life.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Daily <\/span>l<\/span>ife theme topic:<\/span><\/p>\n

The themes are based on dai<\/span>l<\/span>y-<\/span>l<\/span>ife orientated programs, together with interesting contents such as fami<\/span>l<\/span>y, festiva<\/span>l<\/span>s and community etc. to conso<\/span>l<\/span>idate the mainstream curricu<\/span>l<\/span>ar that nurture children’s <\/span>l<\/span>earning deve<\/span>l<\/span>opmenta<\/span>l <\/span>mi<\/span>l<\/span>estones.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Learn through p<\/span>l<\/span>ay<\/span><\/p>\n

Our main aims are to encourage and faci<\/span>l<\/span>itate chi<\/span>l<\/span>dren to exp<\/span>l<\/span>ore through games. Learning through p<\/span>l<\/span>ay can bui<\/span>l<\/span>d up children\u2019s interests, concentration and adaptability. We support and provide children opportunity to exp<\/span>l<\/span>ore and participate in games.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Character education (The 7 habits of high<\/span>l<\/span>y effective peop<\/span>l<\/span>e)<\/span><\/p>\n

Practices make perfect. We be<\/span>l<\/span>ieve that nurturing mora<\/span>l<\/span>ity is the main mi<\/span>l<\/span>estone for <\/span>l<\/span>earning. Our schoo<\/span>l <\/span>is proud and honour to be se<\/span>l<\/span>ected as one of the kindergartens in Hong Kong to incorporate \u2018The 7 habits\u2019 topics into our curricu<\/span>l<\/span>um program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seven habits of high<\/span>l<\/span>y effective peop<\/span>l<\/span>e inc<\/span>l<\/span>ude<\/span>:<\/p>\n

1st habit: You’re in charge. Be proactive. (Sense of responsibility.)<\/span><\/p>\n

2nd habit: Have a plan. Begin with the end in mind. (Set a goal with effective time management.)<\/p>\n

3rd habit: Put first things first. (Work first, then play. Work out your plan.)<\/p>\n

4th habit: Everyone can win. Think win win. (Understand each other and help others.)<\/p>\n

5th habit: Seek first to understand. Then to be understood. (Respect others.)<\/p>\n

6th habit: Synergize. (Team spirit.)<\/p>\n

7th habit: Balance feels best. Sharpen the saw. (Mind-body balance.)<\/p>\n

*Promotion of the Hu’s Phonics Method<\/span><\/p>\n

To build confidence in learning English, our school has introduced the “Hu’s Phonics Method” English phonics course over the past two years to assist children in their English language acquisition. The Hu’s Phonics Method can be beneficial for preschoolers in learning English.<\/span><\/p>\n

*School-based Happy Friday<\/span><\/p>\n

“Happy Friday” is a special school-based program that integrates the six learning areas emphasized by the Education Bureau: “Physical and Health Education,” “Language,” “Early Childhood Mathematics,” “Nature and Living,” “Self and Society,” and “Arts and Creativity.” “Happy Friday” includes activities such as The Boys’ Brigade, moral education classes, snack tasting and preparation, creative arts, STEAM activities, chess games, fine motor skills training, reading corners, and storytelling sessions. These activities provide children with a richer learning experience beyond the classroom, allowing them to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes from various fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Singing to Learn Mandarin<\/span><\/p>\n

Our school is committed to providing a rich music and arts education. We have arranged for all teachers to complete training in Mandarin music education to ensure teaching quality. We incorporate Mandarin music education into our music classes, helping children enhance their Mandarin language skills while learning music. Let children soar in the world of music and explore limitless possibilities!<\/span><\/p>\n

Discovery and Exploration – <\/span>Through music, children discover their bodies and the mysteries of sound.<\/span><\/p>\n

Multi-sensory Experience – <\/span>By combining visual, auditory, and
\nkinesthetic experiences, children stimulate their imagination and intelligence
